About Berry Bus Service
The local school bus service in Berry started as an offshoot of Newbold's taxi service, using a Holden taxi to transport children from the wider area to Berry Primary School. When student numbers outgrew the Holden station wagon, larger vehicles were purchased. The services became known as the Berry - Bellawongarah and Berry - Woodhill school runs. Ownership of the town bus services passed from Nev and Beryl Newbold to Steve and Jeanette Kellett, Dave and Pam Lamshed and most recently Ben and Brooke Ogle. The trading name Berry Bus Service was introduced in 1991 with the view of diversifying the business into charter and tour work.
In subsequent years, a touring and special events charter service has grown organically, built upon the customer focused and personalised service offered by a small, family-run business. Berry Bus Service is proud to serve its loyal customer base and continue to be the preferred transport supplier for many of the Shoalhaven region's premier wedding venues.
The Bellawongarah and Woodhill school services continue to serve the community’s school students, providing a direct link to Berry Primary School and Shoal Bus services to Nowra district schools.
Berry Bus Service is a Transport for New South Wales accredited operator (Accreditation Number 43012).
